Privacy
DentalDex collects what you type into its tools and forms, which guide pages you read, and, if you choose to save your results or list your practice, your email and name. Nothing about your practice is shared with a buyer without your written approval. This page explains exactly what is stored, for how long, and how to have it deleted.
What is collected, and when

What DentalDex does with it
- Shows you results and keeps them on file so you do not have to re-enter them.
- Helps us understand how ready a practice is and which buyers might fit, so a conversation with you starts from what you have already told us.
- Prioritizes follow-up. We may contact you at the email you provided about your practice. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- Improves the tools and, in aggregate only, the market ranges published on this site. Aggregate reporting never identifies a practice, a person or a buyer.
What DentalDex does not do
- Share your identity, practice name or financial details with any buyer without your written approval and a signed non-disclosure agreement.
- Sell your data to anyone.
- Use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. The only identifier is the one described above.
- Collect or ask for patient-identifiable information. Please do not submit it.
Service providers
Data is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, which replicates globally with primary storage in the United States. When you save results or submit a form, a summary and the full profile (your contact details, every tool input you provided, the pages you visited on this site, and DentalDex's internal readiness, quality and intent scores) may be forwarded to the messaging or CRM tools DentalDex staff use to respond to you. Those providers process it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. If you save your results, a copy may be emailed to you through a transactional email provider.
Retention
Anonymous session data is deleted automatically 180 days after your last visit unless you link it to an email. Identified records are kept while you are in contact with DentalDex and for up to three years after the last interaction, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner. Records relating to a completed transaction are kept as long as the law requires.
Your choices
- Use every tool without saving. Results still display in full; the only difference is we cannot keep them for you.
- Clear your browser's site data to reset the anonymous identifier.
- Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete everything held under your email address. We respond within 30 days.
- Reply "stop" to any email from us to end follow-up.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and opt out of sale (DentalDex does not sell personal information). This page will be updated with any jurisdiction-specific disclosures counsel requires before launch.
